I offer in person and virtual guidance and support to families who want help to create their own Honoring Space for a loved one before, during and after death occurs. Before death occurs, I can help the Caring Circle create a more soothing, peaceful place for intimate conversation and quiet reflection. This environment is more conducive for the person who is dying and the Caring Circle to experience a peaceful passing.
If the Caring Circle decides to offer At Home Death Care they may want to call in an experienced End of Life Doula to help but they can also do this work on their own. The Doula can offer the care and include the family to the extent they feel comfortable or they can stand back and let the family lead. It's hard for the Caring Circle to know how they will feel about offering this care until death has occurred. This is the value of having an End of Life Doula who collaborates with a funeral director close by for whatever level of care is needed.
For those who are uncomfortable with keeping the body of their loved one IN the home but want their person AT home, I offer the the Mini Mobile Suite. I transport it from my driveway in Los Altos, CA to the client's private property and set it up. I charge $250 to transport it within a 30 mile radius of my home. I charge an additional .79/mile to transport it outside the 30 mile radius. See videos of the Mini Mobile Suite to get an idea of its potential uses.
For those who want to spend some quiet reflective time with their loved one just not in the home, I collaborate with Honor Cremations to offer a two hour visitation experience in a private room at a non-denominational church in Palo Alto called the Natural Goodbye. Contact me to discuss how we might arrange this option for you and your Caring Circle.
I can be available 24/7 to answer questions. I realize that the need for an End of Life Doula can arise on short notice and at anytime.
